The Lonely Village Modernisation has taken a great toll of many Indian village, people in search of greener pastures have left the pasture land to concrete jungles. The villages which used to be lively once have become lonely with very few elderly people guarding the land and only time it wakes up to life is summer vacation. It reminds me of great poem by Tracey Clark. a lone village, in an empty land flowers fade, in summer and shade Let us keep the tradition and our villages alive. |
